Surprise! We are starting a new series called TTT, or Top the Trend. It will be mostly about affordable trends, or buying on a budget. This post, tartan. If you haven't gotten onto the tartan trend, you need to. Just about everyone is buying the famous check pattern and almost every store is selling it. You can get anything from skirts, dresses, pants, and accessories. The most known pattern colors are a deep forest green and blue, or a bright red and blue. Over the past year I have become in love with elbow pads. Yes, you heard me right. It seems like everyone is loving this Zara shirt though, even Alana has the same one! I am also freaking out over this mini satchel I found at H&M, it has become a part of me. Hope everyone is enjoying the end of their seasonal break. (My title is in English, Spanish, and French according to google translate)

I'm not sure if I'm the only one but I adore a pink and gold combination. Of course, every girl needs a simple pair of pink ballet flats, mine were on sale at H&M. Compared to hot pink, I choose light pink because it is such a classy look. If you have a light pink shirt on, always put on a gold necklace to pair it off. This will give a simple and classy look.

Maroon N Blue

If you haven't bought a pair of Leigh jeans from Topshop, I suggest you do immediately. These are by far the best jeans I've ever had. I pair it with this burgundy leather jacket and cape blouse which Taissa Farmiga wore on American Horror Story (when I realized I had the same shirt, it was an awesome feeling). Always look to your favorite shows for inspiration.

Rips & Rings

In the past few months I have grown overly attached to my boyfriend jeans, along with stacking rings. Unfortunately, blizzards don't allow you to wear these jeans and still be warm, so for approximately the next few days, I'll have to keep my hands off. I pair them with a fluffy knit from Topshop (which is literally to die for) and some Steve Madden shoes I got on sale.
